UPSC Prelims 2024 - Exam Pattern

Paper-I comprises 100 questions, while Paper-II has 80 questions. Paper-I carries 200 marks, with 2 marks allocated per question. Paper-II carries 200 marks, with 2.5 marks allocated per question. Negative marking is applicable in Paper-I, with 1/3rd (0.33) marks deducted for each incorrect answer.
